This Privacy Policy explains how The Prayer App ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Moore Apps Limited Liability Company, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account or using the app:

• Name and email address
• Password (encrypted and never visible to us)
• Location (city/state or general region, if provided)
• Device-based geolocation (with your permission)
• Birthday (optional)

We also collect usage and activity data:

• Saved prayers, decrees, and audio reflections
• Prayer history and categories used
• Subscription level and status
• App usage patterns
• Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
• Push notification tokens

Dynamic Prayer Content

Some prayers, decrees, affirmations, and audio reflections are created dynamically using secure guided tools based on themes or requests you choose.

These tools only receive:

• The prayer topic or category you select
• The theme or tone you choose
• Your written prayer request (if provided)

Audio Generation

When you use the voice reader feature, audio is generated using secure text-to-speech services. Only the prayer text is sent—no personal information. Generated audio may be cached to improve playback performance and can be deleted at any time.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Generate personalized prayers based on your selections
• Save your prayers, audio, and activity
• Process subscriptions and premium features
• Send push notifications (with your permission)
• Improve app performance and features
• Display advertisements (free tier users only)

Advertising

The free version of the app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To show relevant ads, AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android), general location, and app interaction data.

You can limit ad tracking through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the app:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, storage, analytics, push notifications
• Google Cloud — Audio generation services
• Google AdMob — Advertising for free tier users
• RevenueCat — Subscription management
• Apple App Store / Google Play — Payment processing

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards including encrypted passwords, secure database storage, HTTPS encryption, and restricted access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take data protection seriously.

Your Rights and Choices

You may:

• Access, update, or correct your profile
• Delete saved prayers and audio
• Opt out of push notifications
• Limit ad tracking through device settings
• Manage subscriptions through your app store
• Request complete account deletion

California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where required for legal purposes.

Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover such information, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app means you accept any changes.
